I have a Asustek m2n68-AM motherboard and i was wondering if it could run a AMD A8-5500 processor
Is my motherboard able to run this cpu?

Well another question has arisen i'm kind of a newbie to the computer but would my 430 watt psu handle that cpu?

The PSU powers the entire system, not just the CPU. The PSU can power the CPU alone. But it really depends on your entire build, not individual components. And you also have to account for the total ampere on the +12V rail, not wattage alone.

Well the processor you suggested seemed to be a little too hard for me to get seing how is if i screw up or something i can't take it back on the sights i found that it was on however i found this cpu AMD FX-8320 and its a am3 socket type so it should work i justed wanted to ask you just incase you can never be too sure
