What is the slowest component in my PC?

I was just wondering for future upgrades which I need to upgrade.

GTX 550 ti
AMD FX 6300
8gb G. SKILL 8 gb 2x4 RAM

If you recommend anything keep in mind I have a 600watt power supply and a pci express 2.0 x16 lane

if your hard drive spins, then that's the slowest component.

yes I do know this but I ment in the gaming region like I still do lag sometimes on low in BF3 with my system was wondering which component might of been the cause

i would get a decent cpu cooler, and overclock. and then upgrade gpu if necessary.

google "fx 6300 overclock" you should find everything you need. its all about the bios settings. just make sure you have a decent cooler first, as the stock on is not going to support the overclock.

depends on how high of an overclock you want to do, and how much your motherboard will support. also make sure your power supply is a decent brand.
