Hei guys! So i recently bought some new hardware for my system, it worked perfectly for a day then it all went south.
I upgraded my graphics card to a asus gtx 770 my psu to a corsair cx750m and a new ssd samsung 840 pro 256gb ssd disc.
It worked perfectly for a day, well o e thing i forgot to mention was that my former ssd disc broke and I replaced it with my current samsung disc. Well to cut to the chase my pc works perfectly, until i install my gpu drivers, when I do that i am prompted to restart (this is a fresh) w7 install and chipsets and everything installed.
So my ssd, psu and graphic card is brand new and I have tried all the troubleshooting i can think of (prime95,memtest,update bios etc) and I now seek out to you guys for advice/guidance?
I am really trying to avoid to RMA, I have read various threads and some say it can be the psu, graphic card, mb etc and I just can not seem to get a good idea what is causing the problem.
Asus sabertooth p67
Intel i7 2600k
Corsair vengeance 8gigs
Asus geforce gtx 770
Samsung 840 pro 256gb
Try booting the computer with the graphics card disabled (there should be a setting in the bios) and try to access Windows with the remote desktop thing if possible. Because the GPU is disabled it shouldn't have a problem installing drivers but then it can still detect it because it's plugged in. I had the same problem.
