Hello, I have purchased and installed an intel core i7 3770k and also installed a cooler master hyper 212 evo cooler. The system works greatly but in core temp I have noticed that while not doing anything (ex. sitting on desktop) core1 core2 and core3 have an average of 34C and core0 has an average of 40C. Is this something I must look into or it is natural for core0 to have higher temperature?

In socket 1155 and 2011 CPUs (I don't know about 1050) it is more than normal to have one core, usually the first one, be hotter than the rest. My 3930k has core0 about 5-10ºC above the rest also.

Don't worry. If you try to reseat the cooler you will get the same results. Just look it up in forums, there are plenty of people with this issue. It's just the background programs that tend to use core0 in your pc more than other cores, and therefore it runs hotter.
