I have a friend who has Internet access through his Verizon mifi via his internal wireless adapter on his laptop. He also has a Xerox printer with an ethernet port on it. In the past, he has been able to access this printer over his wireless network and the printer has been able to access the Internet and so has his computer. It is not working and appears some ethernet cables have been moved to different ports and it's possible the switch on the back that goes between repeater and router have been toggled.
I would like to know how to make this router model connect to the Verizon mifi over the air so that the printer which is physically hooked to the router can grab an IP on the same subnet as the computer (via wireless) so he can print from his computer and the printer can access the Internet. I have reviewed many similar questions on this site, but have not found the exact issue I am faced with. I know this is possible, but am not familiar with this particular wifi router or Verizon mifi.

When the wireless signal is available, it says DD-WRT as the SSID. Would that indicate it is? I had not checked on that.
