Can't boot from SSD

I'm not exactly a computer whiz, so please forgive me if I'm missing something obvious.
I recently transferred my computer over to a new case, and in the process I installed a 120GB Samsung 840 Series. I don't have a Windows 7 disc, so I cloned my OS with Paragon Migrate OS to SSD. In BIOS I moved the SSD up to the top in Hard disk boot priorty, but it doesn't show up as a boot device. So I tried switching the SATA ports of the HDD and the SSD and when I started my computer, Windows failed to boot. It gave me "Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer" etc., etc.
Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Pretty much. All the best.

I see. That shouldn't happen but I guess you might want to get a new copy of Windows 7. Remove your old Hard Drive, completely unplug it and see what happens when you boot up!

No luck, it just brought me to the same error screen. It's looking like I'll just have to get a Windows 7 disc.

You're welcome. Do choose a solution though.
