How do I overclock my new monitor?

I just got my 1440P QNIX QX2710 PLS monitor. I read that a lot of overclockers have had success with overclocking the monitor from 60hz to 120hz.

I have the ASUS ATI HD7850 2GB, Haswell i5-4670k processor, mSi Z87-G45 Mother board, Corsair HX850 Gold PSU, and 16GB Ripjaw Ram.

How do I go about overclocking what I have to obtain max performance?

I would really like to get the 120hz on this monitor.

Sorry I am not very experienced when it comes to overclocking atm.

By the way the QNIX QX2710 is my second monitor. My primary monitor is the 144hz ASUS VG248QE.

The best I can come up with is that it is done through the graphics card settings.

Iirc, no way to oc one monitor only. And if you try to send a 120hz signal to the asus, you will likely fry it. If you really want to try this, disconnect the asus, maybe even replace - buying a second gpu would allow discreet signals too

Check the monitor guide linked in my sig, theres a section on overclocking monitors.
Dont expect to hit 120hz, with one exception I know of, you'l only be able to hit a max of ~75hz, if that.

Also, there is no point in using a 120 Hz monitor if your FPS doesn't go over 60.
