Good Enough Specs for PC Gaming?

I'm aiming for a nice 60 FPS and I have a low budget of 900$. The specs for the computer Im looking at is:

Intel 3rd Gen. i5 3.1GHz
8GB Ram
NVIDIA Geforce Gtx 650

Also I'm wondering how well This would run on games such as Battlefield 3, Leauge of Legends and Minecraft (Battlefield On Ultra Setting, Leauge of Legends on Max Setting & Minecraft on Max Setting,)

  3. Budget of 900$ would get him a better GPU though

Oh My Bad, Yea thats what I meant
  6. No, you can play battlefield 3 on ultra at 60fps.
You will get min-med mix for fluid multiplayer.
  7. Where do you order? Does OS and peripheals need to be included? For 900$ you could make a more powerfull machine wich would play it.

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/thasan1/saved/1wGi well this should be a nice build though its 12$ over your 900$ limit and does not include monitor & mice but will give you sweet gaming performance.

    Specs :
    CPU : intel core i5-3570K
    Mobo: Asrock Z77 Pro3
    Mem : Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
    Gfx : Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB
    HDD :Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Case: NZXT Tempest 210 ATX Mid Tower
    PSU : Corsair 600W ATX12V

Sweet? Man that can max out everything at 1080p and nice frames. Even Crysis 3 will be more than playable!

But if you change that GPU with upcomming 760ti or 760 (or 7870 LE) you should be able to get a monitor and some cheap laser mice (Ive got Logilink ID0031 and its awesome (about 8$), I also got some old IBM keyboard and it more than good for gaming). For monitor just get cheap 1080p 75-60 Hz one.
  15. @tadej petric i think he has a separate budget for the monitor. even if its included in the build, a 760ti will be more than capable of maxing out all the games out there though might need some reduced settings.

760ti should be awesome too. (And for OP, 60 is very playable, Im happy with 30 on almost all games (havent came to one where I would need more (I played games from BF3 and CoD to GTAs and MP3 to Skyrim, WoW and Diablo))) By awesome I mean max out almost all games with nice frames but you might need to cut down anti aliasing on some cases. But you will be happy with 760ti or 770.

But yeah, monitor is included, just saw.
  17. P.S. @ OP
Overclocking or not? From first build I say not so change that 3570K and z77 with 3570 (non-k) or 3470 and change mobo to asus p8b75. With saved that you can get mouse and keyboard while staying in 900$ budget.
  18. I have 1 Last question ( I Think) Would a VERY old monitor be compatible with the desktop? And also a VERY old keyboard aswell? Since im going above my budget, I wont be able to afford the monitor & keyboad, but the mouse I have one already.

That GPU comes with a DVI - VGA adapter, so the monitor should be attachable, and that motherboard does have a ps/2 port so yes it is fine ;).
