Hi I bought a new Nvidia GTX 680 GPU and i am wondering if my old PSU will handle it

I have a Custome build PC

4 X 1 TB HDD
1 X 500 GB HDD
1 X DVD ROM
NVidia GTX 680
3 X 4GB DDR3 RAM
Intel DX58SO2 MB
CPU intel i7 960 3.2 MHZ
and then the old PSU is a Gigabyte Odin 550W

Should I upgrade my PSU or not

Any advice will help

do you know how old it is ? -.-
550W is always a 550W there is no "old" in power. Old means if it cannot actually supply enough power anymore because of bad capacitors.
Plus gtx680 system usually doesnt need more than 450W tops. He is pretty good to go!

Ok, let me try this, why spend 500$ on a gpu and cheap out on PSU? There's no saying if that PSU will hold up so he might as well throw a little money at a PSU and be safe.

Anyway to each his own this is my opinion.

well... a little money? he needs at least 70-80$ more to spend if he wants a decent psu...

plug the system if it works there is no need to purchase something new... better than talking in here already lol
