Hey, so I just put together a new system. I noticed a strange whirring coming from the build after I put it together when it was running with some load.
What seems to be happening is that the fan does not run when the system is not running anything, but then kicks on intermittently when the system is under load. But the weird thing is that the fan doesn't stay on under load: it turns on for a period of a few seconds, then turns off, then does it again, and repeats this cycle somewhere between every 35-55 seconds.
I know the GS600 is designed to not need the PSU fan when it isn't running under much stress, but I don't know why, even when it is running under a relatively constant level of stress, the fan seems to intermittently turn off and on.
