hello,
today i have finally received my new hardware (gtx 780,asus crosshair hero, itel 4770k)
i upgraded it from a (asus crosshair iv,intel phenom 1100t, and a gtx 470)
anyway after replacing everything and turning on windows (old boot) and upgrading the graphics card drivers to the latest(320.18 drivers) and deleting any trace of the old drivers i noticed my computer was significantly slower games such as battlefield 3 wont open and i get 30 fps in games i should be getting atleast 60+

so i really need help with this.
my psu is 750w could it be my cpu is to slow?
I'm really stuck on this so any help would be awesome

extra info: my cpu is not overheating
I'm running windows on a ssd

Best solution

You should really do a clean windows install with so many hardware changes. You're probably having driver conflicts wich will be solved with a clean install.

I agree with aatje92, anytime you change that much hardware(regardless if windows still loads and runs) you should do a fresh install of Windows.

Agree with aatje92 you should do a clean install of windows. BTW thats AMD phenom 1100t not intel phenom 1100t.
