How to play ARMA 3 ALPHA?

Ok anyone know how to play this game. I get spawned in a map that says has 40 people but havnt seen 1 person in 40 min. These maps are huge also. Just paid 32 dollars for no reason.

You're in a wasteland map, which is a open-world roaming map, where you can get cars, helicopters, make bases and so on. It is like a 'true' experience of war. Where you have to get food, water and heal your wounds or else you will fall.

There are other maps and other playing styles, it is easy to find, but there are less people in those games.

Its so glitchy even for and Alpha i dont even want to play it. I try to connect to the coop modes but for sum reason when i click ok nothing happens. I might just uninstall it and wait for the beta. Its comes out in a few weeks
