Am I getting blocked?

Recently someone has been living with us and sometimes when I am torrenting about 30 minutes later my internet connection would just die and it wouldn't come back until a few hours later and if I still had my torrent up then it would come back for a few minutes and then die again for a few hours. The reason I am suspicious is because the internet connection on my main pc and my phone would die but then if I grab my laptop which I only use for school everything would be working fine. I know its not my ISP or anything because I have been using torrents for years and I have never had this problem until recently.

For the record I am not pirating software or movies. The problem is that I am paying for the internet and it is not working for me. I just want to find out how he's doing it so I can stop it or make sure that he really is blocking me so I can confront him without looking like an idiot.



I called them but they didn't know what was going on and they said everything was fine on their end.
