What is the best video & voice recording devices for 2013?

For example recording a game and voice and uploading. I am looking for more facts like features and performance over opinion maybe somebody knows a video that actually explains in detail between different devices. I have looked into Avermedia but want to be sure before I deidcate to any one device. Also I am totally lost for voice devices would a good webcam do or should I consider a quality mic?

I have looked into and so far it appeals to me the most I like the C985 I was considering something built in to the pc don't mind it taking up the PCIe slot but I just like to know other stuff and their performance and how they differ on top of that it only answers one of my questions really I still need something for voice like webcam or mic which to go with I have heard seasoned youtubers for example use a certain type of mic for the sake of recording their voice???

Digital voice recorders are the best devices to record meetings, lecturers or anything that many people might want a transcription of later. They also come in quite handy when it comes to home security.

I did not realize anyone else replied to this thanks for the response anyhow. I thought I had this thread closed or deleted or something by now I stopped tracking it.
