This is my first attempt at pc assembly. I have a very tight budget so I have chosen for:
1) Motherboard- Intel DH61HO,
2) Processor- Intel G530,
3) HDD- WD Cavier Blue 500 GB,
4) RAM- Kingston DDR3-1333 4 GB

I have an old VIA PC with p4m800pro-m mobo with micro-ATX form factor.

Questions:
1) does my new mobo will fit in the micro-ARX chassis?

2) as the RAM type is 1333 and processor's memory-type supported is 1066, will they be compatible?

The motherboard will most likley fit into a micro ATX case, but it will not support the ram. The motherboard only supports the older, slower ddr2 ram. You will need to buy ddr2 if you want this to work. Also, the CPU uses a different socket to the motherboard. The old motherboard is socket 775 while the new CPU's is 1155. Sorry, but not many of these mis-match parts go together.

Thank you for the quick reply.

although, I have no idea about the socket 755 or socket 1155, so can you explain it a bit or point me in the direction?

Edit:
According to intel website, The RAM passed the testing procedure (the board supports DDR3 1333 MHz and DDR3 1066 MHz SDRAM DIMMs).

My question is in regards of processor-RAM compatibility.
