As the title says, is Isopropyl (99.7%) good for removing thermal paste? On the bottle it says that it is good for electronics, but I want to be sure.

Even 70% works plenty good enough. Just takes a few seconds/minutes longer to completely dry.

My local electronic store sells 99.7%. For really stubborn baked on thermal paste on 360's, I use a bit of goo-off first, let that set, and that eats the paste right off but most of the time the 99.7% works.
