Hey -

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

So just got a new system:

CPU: i7 4770K
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45
Cooling: Corsair H100
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaw X Series (2x4GB) DDR3 2133
HDD: Samsung 840 Series 250GB SSD
HDD2: WD Caviar Black 7200RPM 1TB HDD
GPU: MSI GTX 770 2GB
PSU: Seasonic M12II 620W
Case: NZXT Tempest 410

My first build - and wanted to explore overclocking.

I've read most of the OC manuals, and think I have it stable @ 4.5Ghz (45x multiplier on the 100Mhz base clock)
with vcore voltage of 1.22.

I've run Prime 95 for a couple hours, max temps hit 77 degrees C but averaging between 65-70 degrees C.

Question - is this a relatively safe temperature zone for the CPU at load? I'm pretty sure I could push it further, but don't have the time right now, as I'm realizing how time intensive it is. And for now, probably don't need to go further. If not safe, what should I be targeting?

Thanks again.
