haswell or ivybridge

So i'm building a pc soon and was wondering what you guys think is the best option a i5 3570k ivy or a i5 4670k haswell?

Depends on your budget. If you can afford Haswell, then I would recommend it.

Depends on your budget. Try a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H.

that's not bad since the motherboard i was looking at for the i5 3570k was a 300$ mobo.

Not bad as in good or not bad as in your want something better? The Gigabyte one that I suggested is a very good motherboard.

you really dont need to spend $300 on a motherboard. that gigabye that was recommended will do fine.

not bad as in good since the one i was looking at was in the 300$ dollar range when this is half the price.
