I'm about to upgrade my computer and would like to know if the AMD 7870, 7950, 7970 graphic cards would be compatible with my comp. Also, which card would be the best for gaming?

My comp:

I am going to upgrade my ram as well. Will it be compatible?

Ram:

If it helps. my case apparently only fits 10.5" cards.
Would this comp, once fully upgraded be able to play bf3 on ultra?

Splendid
The ram is compatible and gpus will work, Id recommend getting the 7950 and saving money from the 7970. For the ram it will work just make sure you take out the one stick of 4gb thats already in the computer as there not cross compatible with the new sticks you're getting

Hmmm you would need to upgrade the PSU if you want that powerful a graphics card.
The HD7950 or HD7970 would bottleneck a bit on that CPU so I would say get the HD7870 XT/LE, its almost as fast as the HD7950 but is much cheaper.

The RAM should work in that system though.

EDIT : Just noticed that none of the Tahiti cards will work in that case, they are too long. You will have to get a normal non-XT/LE HD7870.
