i want to upgrade my graphics card right now i have
xfx 7770
8gb ram
amd a10-5800k
600w psu

i want to upgrade from the following two cards and cant really find any way too compare there specs, if you can help i would be grateful

Sapphire HD 7850 OC Edition 2GB = £150.00

Palit GTX 650 Ti BOOST OC Edition 2GB = £130.00

For those prices, the GTX650Ti Boost is the better deal. I've read a number of reviews of the GTX650Ti Boost, and although various tech sites differ, the review I trust most on this one is HardOCP, who found the GTX650Ti Boost to be marginally better than the HD7850. Both could play on all the same settings, but they said the experience on the GeForce card was a little better.
Assuming your PSU is of reasonable quality, it should power either card without trouble. What brand and model is it?

The GTX650Ti Boost is slightly stronger, and according to you, slightly cheaper as well. That makes it the clear bang/buck winner. Unless your games strongly favor AMD, I'd get the GTX.
Edit: That's a very good point about the free games. If you're interested in them, the value proposition gets turned upside down, and the Radeon is the better value.
