Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't decide between applications and video games.

Basically I'm having an issue with minecraft and ANY attempt to record, it records fine for 2-10 minutes depending on aspect ratio but then the frame rate just plummets to an unplayable rate (1-2FPS) and never go back up. I have this issue with any recording program, I'v tried DXTory, XSplit and Fraps. I can record any other game at 50FPS effortlessly which is what makes me think it's Minecraft and not the recording app.

What I'v tried;
REVO uninstalling Java and reinstalling to insure it's 64bit.
Reinstalling video recording applications.
Brand new HDD for nothing but recordings.
Recording to an SSD.
Recording to the same drive as minecraft is on.
Vanilla Minecraft.

I am at the end of my tether with this issue, i was just want to record and it hates me so much, if anyone can help me find out what is causing this issue I'll be super appreciative.

PC Specs;
CPU: i7 3930k
Graphics 1: Sapphire HD7950 OC Edition V2
Graphics 2: Sapphire HD7950 OC Edition V2
SSD (Boot): OCZ Agility4 128GB (Write Speed: 273MBs - Read Speed: 250MBs)
HDD (Games): Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (Write Speed: 117MBs - Read Speed: 127MBs)
HDD (Record): Western Digital Blue 1TB (Write Speed: 177MBs - Read Speed: 185MBs)

Solution
What OS are you using? Try updating your bios and your video card drivers, play with one GPU, try and borrow a friends GPU that has more ram, try playing with more ram
Do any other games have this problem, and what is the heat and usage of your GPU when playing? I found a solution to a similar problem, Might work for you.....
