I recently purchased an ASUS PCE-N15 for my gaming PC, due to not being able to hard-wire across my house. After purchasing and installing the card, I have been receiving a shotty and slow connection which some times cuts out, A friend of mine suggested that I try and bridge the connection between my desktop and laptop. When trying to due so, I discover I had no Local Area Connection under my device manager. I have tried re installing the drivers for the card, and wireless controller, I have also tried re-installing Windows 7, I even replaced the antennas on the card with a larger after market omni antenna, but nothing has solved my issue. Please help, I will provide any extra needed information.

Thanks for any replies in advance!

Hey there,

I have a similar problem as you. My PCE-N15 seems to be underperforming as well, and I am currently sharing my internet from my Macbook to my PC using an ethernet cable. What operating system is your laptop running?

Also, you need to look in the Network Connections in Windows 7. Start menu, search for Network Connections. Disable any Wireless Network Connections you see, and enable any Local Area Connections (after you have the ethernet cord connecting your laptop to desktop).
