Evening folks. I've been having display driver crashes intermittently and this one has me stumped. Typically it happens when playing games, mainly Battlefield 3. Symptoms are black screen for about 10 seconds then it 'recovers' but the game never comes back fully. Normally when I get driver crashes I update the firmware or roll it back, no luck this time. I'm currently on version 320.18. Have tried 314.22, and 310.90 with the same results and frequency.

Checking eventvwr it has:
6/14/2013 5:51:07 PM
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

I had afterburner logging during that time. This doesn't paste to nicely so i went to a google public doc with it and formatted nicely.

I heard there was crashing problem with the latest WHQL (320.18) though personally it working just fine for me. Only crashing once on we this week with that driver stop responding stuff which is the first for me amd i have neen using the driver since it came out. Have you tried using clean deriver install when installing for new driver? Did tje creash problem only starts when you use latest WHQL driver?

I do clean installs when updating drivers. The crashes started happening probably 2-3 months ago but I cant pin down a specific time. Just seems like they have been more frequent as of lately. I typically can make it 5-10 minutes into a round before the crash happens.

The only thing i can spot from the log is GPU utilization is high 90s - 100% right before the crashes.
