Good reasons for built-in wifi?

I am trying to decide between an Asrock extreme6 or an Asrock extreme 6/AC, which has built-in wifi for an additional $20. Besides gaming, I'd like to eventually turn my PC into a part-time music server, and stream flacs to an AV receiver. I currently have a rig with a FIOS router streaming Netflix into the living room downstairs. Anyway, what's the consensus on motherboards that have built-in Wi-Fi? Would it serve my needs to buy one? Or are there any other good reasons to purchase one? I'm still new at building systems. Thanks.

If it is built in, they may take shortcuts to cut the 'costs' and dependent on Windows OS drivers to fill the gap then have all the circuits made and soldered into the board. So normally for high needs as your saying (not normal type of use) it would be better to a dedicated card as ksham mentioned. There are some serious gamer ones out there too for low latency over the network, but really it all comes down to 1) how many other wireless are around to interfere 2) how many walls/floors/doors/pipes/etc. between point A (this computer) and point B (the router) and point C (where your AV receiver is) 3) ANY other use (someone watching at same time Youtube kitty movies) at the same time will impact your wireless streams.
