I have an i5 4670k cpu and was looking for a motherboard to match. every search I do send me to this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130692

but after reading the reviews i fear I may get the same issue as its very common and recent. if anyone has another board of the same quality or close I'd appreciate it.

side note: my color scheme is blue and white with a see through case but i can deal with it not being the same colors

Solution
Seems to be a problem with defective memory slots. This will most likely be fixed within the next container of this mobo. However, no one would blame if we want to avoid this problem at all costs, so lets find another candidate.

For the same price range and match your color theme, I'd suggest the GIGABYTE Z87X-UD3H. Biggest things you'll miss over the MSI gd65 one is Killer LAN controller and some OC buttons, plus few phases for extra OC ability and a mSATA slot. But if color theme can be changed, a GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC would be nice, a board that's really made for high performance systems at a decent price. ( you can find both those boards on newegg ).

Same thing happened with them on the P67 mobos, and they knew all about it, yet their techs continually told people there were no problems they knew of - the tight slots would throw the rigs into a boot loop.....just one of the many reasons they have fallen to the #4 mobo maker (and not to far ahead of number 5, I quit using MSI with the other fiasco..I now look to ASRock the up and comer, Asus and GB

Thanks a bunch. I thought I had found my board but those reviews scare me big time. The ga is solid and I like it. It just happens to be the ugliest color ever? Lol
