I need to get "REPAIR MY COMPUTER" option on Advanced boot menu on vista inspiron 1501

I need to get repair my computer option on vista dell inspiron 1501, I have done everything I can trying to format this thing, I don't have the dell cd it probably came with. So I just want to format my laptop using the recovery partition I can clearly see is there........how do I get this option please!! and no F11 + cntrl bullhucky, cause thats useless as an ashtray on a motorcycle!! All help or ideas will be greatly appreciated....except F11....hahahahahahaha.

Don't format without the Dell Cd, the cd also has all the dirvers and the options for repair or restore.
Try to fix the laptoip without formatting, the hidden partition does not format the hard drive, it just fixes the windows system files that might be corrupted or in need of repair, the option to format and restore to factory settings does not appear with Vista Os, all you will get is a blank hdd choosing restore to factory settings.

Go to Safe Mode then go to Start Menu AllPrograms > Manitenance > Backup & Restore.

Otherwise, list your issues and someone here might be able to provide a solution.
