I just finished building this computer with these components:

- Intel Core i5-3570K Processor with stock cooler
- Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe Motherboard
- MSI R7950 Twin Frozr 3GDs Graphics Card
- Corsair Enthusiast series TX750 Power Supply
- Corsair Vengeance 4GB x4 RAM

I put it all together properly (or so I thought apparently), hooked it up to my TV using an HDMI cable, turned the power on, and everything started up for a second then shut off. My case fans started, CPU fan started, and a CPU-LED flashed red then disappeared when everything shut off. Nothing came up for noise on my speakers and obviously my Bios didnt show up on screen.

Did I not hook something up right? Do I have faulty parts? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Edit: Just did the Paperclip Test for my PSU, it runs great. Unplugged everything from the motherboard except my 24 pin and 8 pin connectors with just one stick of RAM in to see if it will give me an error beep or just anything different really. Same thing happened. So the problem has to be my motherboard but what exactly?

It doesn't have to be the motherboard, the red cpu led suggests a dead cpu, at least its under warranty.

To confirm you test your cpu in another motherboard that you know works. do you have a friend with a mobo you could try?
