Hey everyone! I'm looking for a cheap gaming rig to venture into PC gaming, and maybe video editing. I am a tech nerd, and have done thorough research into various parts, but I wanted to ask for yall's opinions.

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Near the end of the year *im about to finish paying off a car*

Budget Range: about $600 before rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Editing, staring blankly at Facebook

Are you buying a monitor: Not now, but cheap recommendations are great!

*Using disk drive from an old computer to play Simcity 4, thats it*

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, microcenter.com (has great CPU/mobo combos)

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Buford, GA, US

Parts Preferences: I prefer AMD, and EVGA cards, but if you can make an intel build for this price range Ill look into it

Overclocking: Probably

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1024x768

Additional Comments: I like a clean design, so no lights or windows for me. Fractal Design is preferred but not super important. Gonna play all of the current games, like Battlefield, Crysis, Far Cry, and the sorts.

Thanks in advance!
