Hello.

I researched on amd a10-5800k since it has GPU already built in to minimize my

spending due to tight budget.

However here is the problem.

So i built a pc and all i get is slow performance (10~20 fps ) even with the

lowest settings with 1028 x 968 something resolution. ( 22 inch monitor )

Here is my rig..
-----------------------------

CPU : AMD a10-5800k Trinity
RAM : Corsair DDR3-1600 8GB (2x4GB)
MB : Gigabyte GA-F2A75M-D3H FM2
HDD : WD caviar blue 500GB
PSU : some 420W attached to the case which i bought.

----------------------------------------
Is it because I did not use DVI cable..?
or
Is it the psui..?
or
is it because I connected 2 pin psu end to 4pin motherboard ?..

What would be the problem..? so slow.. even my old laptop can run wow on
low setting with 1380x968 resolution smoothly..
I did a patch on amd catalyst to latest.

Please help me..

What? You're running a 2pin to your 4pin CPU? :O I'm surprised it even boot. haha Use the 4pin from your PSU, it's hard to miss because there'e only one with like that. I doubt you PSU have a power pin for a PCIe. We have the same specs, I'm running crysis 3 smoothly, sc2 HOTS, AC3.

Another thing, are you running your mems on dual channel? That would be a big help!

either ur cpu isnt getting correct power because the cables or u didnt set enough ram to the igpu. I currently have a 4pin plugged into the motherboards 8pin cpu power and runs good but if u put a two pin in then it must of been a pci-e 6+2pin which is the wrong one and the cpu isnt getting correct power to use a 4 pin at least or a 8pin matters on ur connectors.

As said the a10 with its igpu can play crysis and bf3 just fine at playable fps and wow shouldnt be an issue on ultra

The PSU only had a 4pin end connector + 24pin? connector so i connected both on my motherboard which

only had 8 pin socket + 24 socket .

24pin one was put correctly but i am not sure of the 4pin one.. I researched it and it says that its okay to put it in

like that but i guess.. the power might be the problem..

ah... anyway.. i ordered corsair 430W and another radeon HD 7750..

i was so mad lol..

anyways. thank you for your answer!!

No, no, no, no, no! You need to be running at least 1866 MHz DDR3 RAM with an APU!!! That's the key to those systems....beef up your RAM, and make sure you have 2 sticks of RAM and at least 8 GB of RAM! That will solve your issues almost entirely. To get better performance after that you would need to go to a discrete GPU like the HD 7750.

See how big a difference that makes now?

This shows with WoW: MoP you should still be getting into the 30s in terms of FPS!

Yeah.. thats the problem.. I even set up like.. 800x600 with lowest setting and the performance still struggles..

i don't think its the problem with ram.. So..do you think its the psu holding me back?
