I'm looking for help to find out which heatsink/fan set goes to the CPU/desktop computer I'm putting back together. How is this determined? The motherboard is an ASUS M3A78 Pro, the CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 x2, 5600? I have pictures but don't see how to attach. The first heatsink bottom has a solid area which is smaller than the CPU, and the fan is attached. The 2nd heatsink is larger than the 1st, and the whole bottom is solid, and much larger than the CPU, fan not attached. The 1st fan is .7 A, the 2nd is .2 A, both connectors look the same. Both heatsinks fit in the retention module base, but one is narrower and causes it to bend more than the other.
I've looked info up, the motherboard manual, heatsinks for that model of CPU, but not seeing an exact match.
