hi, im planning to buy an hd 7950 gpu..

my specs are

cpu: intel core i5 650 3.1 ghz

mobo: Foxconn H55MXV series

ram: 4gb

os: windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

my question is, will an hd 7950 fit and runs into my system?

Solution
The 7950 can fit on your motherboard... the question is, how big is your case and where are the hard drives sitting? The 7950 will go across your board horizontally and will probably extend beyond the horizontal length of the board. Just check for clearance and the dimension of the specific card.

As per aatje92, you may have to get another power supply if it is under 500W.

You should be fine then. They recommend at least 500W for a 7950

ei, i just noticed that the hd 7950 will collide/hit with the front panel connector/wiring and the serial ata connections (see the 6 blue slots) of the h55mxv foxconn motherboard before it extend past the board itself see this http://
