Hi all,

Recently replaced a faulty HD 4870 on my old machine (specs below) with a new 7750. Now experiencing random shutdowns shortly after start up, < 5 mins. It's stable in safe mode, with drivers disabled.

I ran Driversweep prior to installing the new card and am using the latest drivers from AMD. Fans controlled using SpeedFan and temps seem fine. PSU 450W.

My first GPU replacement, so I'd be grateful for any help!

Thanks

Hmm, it might be your psu is too small to support that large of an upgrade, my 500 watt just died after running my 7750 on my new rig. One good way to check is to, if you know it, add up all of the power consumption of your components, that card has a recommended 450 watts by itself, my processor draws 125 watts plus the 450 overtaxed my psu. I upgraded to 700 watts to be sure.
