I'm going to make my first build and I need 1 pci wireless card, not a usb adapter.

I picked out this one: TP-LINK TL-WN751ND Wireless N150 PCI Adapter, 150Mbps, IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WEP, WPA/WPA2

Even though this card may be cheap, I want to know how good it is connection wise.

If this card is mediocre in any way please suggest others that would fit a budget of 40 dollars for the wireless card.

Its cheap and cheerful, I have one in my machine and also my wife's PC and the kids. The kids and I play a lot of online games and i do a lot of peer to peer file sharing (I only download and shareware freeware material, i do not do any illegal downloading) while my wife does a lot of web surfing. I not had any issues what so ever. Good connection and good speed (depending on your router).

Always look at the specifications. It's certainly not the fastest card. No sense in overbuying if you're always going to connect to the same router or Public WiFi which is still pretty poor speed wise.
