Help SSD Laptop compatability

Hey everyone, I Was wondering if anyone knew whether my SONY VAIO PCG-71311M is compatible with http://www.ebuyer.com/409850-samsung-250gb-840-series-s... (Samsung 250GB 840 Series SSD) As I have heard some Sony laptops have 1.7" hdd wheras the SSD's are 2.5" if anyone could help to see if it works that would be great as I Can't find any information on the net to show compatibility options.

Easiest way is to open it and look at the drive - you'll need to do that to put it in anyway.

Wikipedia thinks the largest 1.8" (nothing about 1.7" anywhere; typo?) drives got to was 320GB. If your HDD is over this, chances are it's a 2.5"
