Hey guys,

I am planing on building my first computer very soon, and plan on using i5-3470 and a GTX 670 POV.
I saw on intel's website (http://ark.intel.com/products/65520) that Graphics Base Frequency is set to 650 MHz, while GTX 670 POV (http://www.pointofview-online.com/showroom.php?shop_mode=product_detail&product_id=322) is set to 915 MHz - boost 980 MHz. Does that mean that my CPU can not handle my GPU?

Thanks for your help :)

Solution
The integrated graphics on the CPU has nothing to do with the graphics on the GPU. The CPUs integrated graphics will disable automatically when you install the GPU. You will be fine.

Solution
The gpu is independent of the cpu. The base frequency for the cpu refers to the onboard HD2500 intel graphics.

You may run into a cpu bottleneck in some games on higher settings, but not likely. IMO you are good to go.
