I have been having a problem with my display image becoming offset at random times while gaming, the image still fills my screen but the side edge of the image moves several inches toward the centre of my monitor. I do have a screen shot of this but I don't know how to attach a file to my post. The only way that I Know to get my image correct is to restart my pc. Any help on this would be greatly aprreciated

I am using gigabyte z68 mobo, Window 7 home premium 64bit, i-52500k, 2xHD6950 in xfire

I have tried disabling xfire and the problem still occurs.

My monitor is a Samsung 5000 series 27" 1080p tv, the connection is using a VGA into the tv and via an adapter into the upper cards DVI slot.

I personally wouldn't do any of these things; Using TV as a PC display, using a VGA connection with modern hardware, using display adapters.

Surest way to attract all sorts of trouble is to combine all of them. One of those is what's causing it.

I have been using this type of setup for over 2 years with no problems until the last month or so, and I know it isn't the ideal setup, but it is the only way I can run my system at the moment.

Well guess it could have been triggered by a driver update or some other changes into display options. Try and remember if you installed any software that might alter your visual settings or the like. That said that doesn't mean that what I said in my first comment doesn't necessarily apply. Good chance one of those three things has something to do with this.
