Can I switch from 2 HDD in RAID0 to a SSD/HDD combo?

I have a MSI GT60 laptop that came with 2 500GB HDD in RAID0.

I want to switch this to 1 SSD and 1 HDD to improve speed of the OS and am wondering how I would go about doing this.

I don't need to save anything on the existing drives. I'm planning on just switching out the old ones for the new ones, installing the OS on the SSD and my media files on the standard HDD.

I understand I need to change the BIOS from RAID to another format (AHCI?). Is that all I would need to do before putting in the SSD and installing the OS?

I'm running Windows 7 SP1 x64

Ended up being pretty simple. Switched BIOS to AHCI, then shut down. Removed both previous drives. Installed the SSD and installed Windows. Then installed the second HDD and restored my documents from backup.
