My ex boyfriend used to mess around with my gaming computer and it started blue screening a few months ago, the power supply has been dented so it might be that or its over heating.. here are the specs

System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: GA-880GMA-UD2H
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 4092MB RAM
Page File: 2215MB used, 5968MB available
Windows Dir: C:\Windows
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
User DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled

I think he disabled my graphics card because it was over heating but that didn't really help.

The graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6800 series

I had to internal memory cards but I removed one..

Honestly I should bring it to get fixed but I would rather fix it myself..

I can't remember any of the blue screen numbers, they've all been different, I'll post one today when it happens,

is there anything i can do to check things out before then?

Hi Sarah, Have you tried to do a system restore to a point before this started? It seems to be something with the system files. As for the Video card overheating, get some canned air from someplace like Walmart and blow our the hetsink on the card. Probably choked with dust as happens. If the PSU was overheating it would just shut down, not BSOD which is usually a driver problem.
