Hello everyone
i am planning out my new build here
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/16GX9
and i need some help- as the title says - i need some help deciding on a psu which will be able to overclock and later on be able to support sli/ crossfire.
on a side note my budget is around £850 but i will be willing to spend around £870
what sort of voltage will neeed?
thanks in advance for the help

A 660ti only uses 250w under load, then say 150w for the CPU = 400w so 550w is more than enough unless he SLI's then a 800w becomes needed.

OP says he may want to SLI in future. So 750w(ish) would be best.

thannks i was orignialy looking at this but i didn't really trust it tbh.
i am really bothered about modular i am getting the nzxt and there is pleantly of room to hide away cables.
and no, i don't want to get ivy bridge because it means in theory i will want to upgrade a year earlier than i would with a haswell.
The XFX psu looks good but am looking to spend around £70 roughly or cant i get a good one for that price?

edit to previous post got more responses whilst i wrote it. i would like to do some upgrades later on in the life of the build with having to do all the cable management. it isn't a necessity but it would be nice to have the option

The Fractal Design power supply you were looking at is actually excellent.

Hardaresecrets Golden Award:

It would not be a bad choice at all.

This is the cheapest best quality modular unit I see that is plenty of power for 2 x GTX 660 Ti cards in Sli.

If you just want to save money that Fractal Design is not bad at all and is dirt cheap for the quality. The XFX like all XFX units is made by Seasonic though and they are the best.

An overclocked 660 Ti uses a maximum of 164 watts under load. No where near 250 watts.
