EVGA vs Galaxy - GTX 770

Solution
EVGA GTX 770 SuperClocked with the ACX cooler. Hands down.

That's ultimately what I decided to get. Very cool, very quiet. Depending on my room temps (I don't have A/C so ambient temps vary) I idle anywhere from 28C to 31C.

EVGA will also give you a FREE backplate when you register your warranty. And if you Google search you can find a page on the EVGA website to get a FREE copy of 3dMark Firestrike when you give EVGA a copy of your purchase invoice for the video card.

All that being said the Galaxy card isn't garbage. Nor is a Zotac, or an MSI, or Asus, etc.

Were it me I'd get the EVGA ACX first. Second I'd do the MSI Twin Frozr, third the Asus DirectCu cooler. After those they're basically all the same in my mind.

Well the idea was to get the EVGA, but it's out of stock for now. And I'll be building my pc real soon, so I was just wondering if I should trust Galaxy or not...

The placement of Asus & MSI (DirectCu II vs Twin Frozr) isn't a big deal to me. I've owned several MSI GPUs and never had a lick of trouble with them. The DirectCU coolers have always been highly rated though I'll admit that. Regardless, both should provide a better than 'stock' cooling capability.
