More about cheapest motherboard 3570k overclocking
  1. don't get a k chip if you don't plan on overclocking

    A B75 board is around $50. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157362

You can use one GPU on it and it will be just as good as a Z77 when you don't overclock.

But, if you don't plan on overclocking, get a 3570, 3470, 3350, 3330, etc (there are a few more i5's can't recall all of them). Anything without a K at the end basically.

Thanks for the quick answer . i pick the i5 3570k over non k is because there is no much of a different in price (5 usd at the moment)

and the 3570k is very good for its performance

but if i wanted to overclock in the future ,the only thing i'm gonna change will be the motherboard

that's an expensive way to overclock. just save up $20 more for a motherboard that can OC in the first place.

    any recommendations?
  8. I would just like to note it won't be a huge upgrade from your i5-650.

It should be noticeable but it won't be huge.

Pick up a 2400 from ebay and save $40 . Same frame rates, job done.
In fact, dont upgrade for 2 more years? You wont notice any difference in games from what you have now. .
cpu I mean, its still good for greater than 60 fps and thats your monitor flat out.
