Hi guys, question is the title.
I know they are different monitors and both have their benefits.
But does the VG248QE from looking at it straight forward(why would anyone game or W/E with the monitor not directly facing you lol?) have similar/same color gamut as the PA248Q? I will be mostly playing BF3/4 and Watch Dogs :D  and will have not too much HW assignments next year (for looking at the screen for a long time(less straining of my eyes?)). I saw a comparison between a 60hz and a 120 hz and i see quite the difference I have a GTX 780 SC ACX and i see that the average FPS in multi-player maps(not like Caspian borders or maps like those...)it is about 80-90 FPS. Later I will be SLI my GTX 780, whether it will be a FTW/Classy, a DUII, or what ever those SE GPUs are, so my FPS will be +110.

If gaming is your biggest focus I would recommend the VG24QE. I used the VG24QE for 3 months now and doing away with v-sync is awesome. Straight on viewing is fine. Out of the box the color settings need tweaked. You can find a good profile to download that fixes color issues.

The light bleeding is very faint around the edges. Maybe some more VG24QE owners will respond.

Alright then. So right now bf3 is about 90fps-100fps in maps. On big maps like Caspar borders, it goes down to around high 60-70 FPS because it is more demanding. Question is, can I change VSYNC to like 80 or 90(numbers between 60 and 140hz) because I know I will not always get 120 FPS but mostlikely around 100. Then when BF4 comes out, I will see how my 780 goes and if it requires the same GPU as BF3 to get ultra then ill stay and wait for the nVidia 800 or 900 series. If not, I may get another 780 if my FPS is around 40 or 50 on ultra. Main question can i change my VSYNC to numbers like 80 or 90 with the vg248qe?

Vsync would not need to be set. Vsync is used to lower your FPS to match the Hz of your monitor, preventing screen tearing. If your FPS is lower than the Hz of your monitor, vsync would not be needed. Examples: 1 - If you were getting 78 FPS on a 144Hz monitor vsync would not be needed. 2 - If you were getting 78 FPS on a 60Hz monitor using vsync would prevent screen tearing.
