Ive been trying to play a new game i got which doesnt have high requirements, but was getting 10 fps, and upon checking the settings, it said my active graphics are intel HD family, and there is no option to select my radeon 6470.

I went to can i run it and it told me i dont have a graphics card.

But when i look in hardware it says my radeon 6470 is there and is "working fine".

I'm really hoping this isnt a hardware error, how can i get my radeon to be detected again?

Ps this is a laptop, so my options in dealing with hardware are limited.

I suppose the 6470 is intergrated in your cpu. In other words your graphic card is inside the cpu, which means "can i run it" might not detect it as a grapgic card.

Did you upgrade any drivers or change the operating system in any way?

HERE is the link for your laptop - try reinstalling the HP driver for your os.
