I left my only tube of thermal compound in my garage over winter, and it got down to - 30 C several times, I'm wondering, is my thermal paste ruined, or is that not a problem? This is just the nextech brand one.

To be safe, buy another tube. Its inexpensive.

Yeah, you are better off buying new thermal paste. Freezing can cause some of the compounds to separate from each other, thus reducing the effectiveness of the thermal paste.
