Recently, for no apparent reason, my PC is stuck in a resolution of 640 x 480. I can't even see the entire screen. I'm running Windows XP sp3 on a Dell 400 XPS, and when I try to change the resolution by going to Settings my changes don't stick.
My graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE (the drivers are dated 1/31/13). Would a new graphics card solve the problem, even an inexpensive one? I can't live with the display the way it is.
