Question About a Server I Acquired.

I recently picked up an HP Proliant ML350 g4p.

When I turned it on I noticed some of the LEDs flashing. Knowing that the LEDs were listed on the case panel, I checked it out. One was for the redundant Case Fan. The other 2 indicate CPU Errors. Would replacing the CPUs on this board bring it back to life? Its a pretty good system from what I read.

Did it boot? Does it have the latest BIOS? Might pull the CPUs and check for dust, excess thermal compound in the socket on the bottom of the CPU(s), check that the vCore (voltage to CPUs are correct (within range), maybe even raise vCore a hair on the one that showed errors, check the CPU heatsinks, might be to tight which can produce errors

Well the server only came loaded with one processor, which should work. I know why one processor show an error as it is not there.

As for the one installed I did check the socket for dust or other grime.

From my experience most computers with a processor error will not boot into the BIOS. So I am unsure whether the BIOS is the problem or not.

As for the vCore I don't believe it was tweaked at all. But I am unable to check.

I have done that to many computers. I don't know why I didnt think of it.

If it doesn't work. Any other suggestions

It's Dual PSU (Redundant) One is bad. But the other seems fine.

That method did not work. I also tried a whole new CR2032.

Should I just try to replace the CPUs? I found them on eBay.
2x Intel Xeon 3.2GHz | 800MHz FSB | 2MB Cache. Fairly cheap only about $7.
