I took a xp system drive out and put it in an external enclosure connected via UBS. I need to retrieve the data off of it but I'm running into access rights issues.
I tried using the security tab hoping that it would propagate down but it doesn't, nor will selecting an individual folder propagate all the way down. I also tried using cacls e: /T /G Everyone:F but I get an access denied message.
This is a coworkers drive and unfortunately her data is all over the place, it'd take days to search everywhere and transfer the files individually, I was hoping to just make a copy of the drive for her to sift through later.
