I built a new machine with i7 4770, Asus Sabertooth X87 and a XFX Radeon 7970. I keep getting "Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered". I have tried a newer driver version as well as an older driver version. Still same issue. This is a fresh install of Windows 7 x64. Is there a setting within the catalyst software I need to play with? I have tried uninstalling it with no luck. One issue I had with the software was it was scaling my monitor down and only using 80% of the screen, I did figure out how to fix that.
Any help would be appreciated.
