my family mistakenly bought me a Pavillion p2-1113w, which is terrible in every way imaginable.
I am a Digital Media major, which involves working with a lot of visual programs such as 3D Studio Max, MAYA, Photoshop, Flash, ZBrush, and I also use FL Studio and play video games in my spare time.
I need a computer (considering laptops, but i prefer desktops) that can support such programs easily and without lag. Efficient and open to modifications. I am somewhat computer savvy, but I don't have the time to make one from scratch. A big factor is also hard disk capacity, projects take up a vast amount of space.
I do have a very nice dual-monitor set-up already.
What are your suggestions?
if there really isn't a specific computer under those specifications, how should I go about building one?
