4 gm ram sufficient..??

I always wondered why people used 16gb or 32gb of ram and still do not know. I use 8 gb and when game MWF3 or battlefiel and leave several open programs and internet pages of the maximum that was used was 4 to 4.5 gb. I think it will be insufficient 4gb but 8gb is enough.

Chrome can use about 3-4GB on its own. FireFox is worse. I tend to sit around 5GB-6GB without loading a game. I wish I had 8GB.

I'm with chrome open with 10 tabs open, bs player, skype, kasperskt, steam ... and I am using 2 gb. I close it and falls to 1.3GB. I open it, now with 3 tabs and use memoris is with 1.5 gb, so I do not think it uses more than 600 mb with 10 tabs open, which I think is unnecessary. You are saying that it uses 2-3 gbs, how is this possible? with 30 or 40 tabs?! A normal person does not do that, I think .. Test you even with the "memory cleaner" and see how much it actually uses..

Yes to the 30-40 tabs. Lots of discussions across many sites that can take days before they die down. You can learn a lot by reading many of the discussions on the web, but you can also feel like you got more dumb by reading some of them.
